I think I've seen it before. I suspect it's by Ritchey at Yerkes. I need to check some of my old books, to see if it's reproduced in one of them.

Not a direct answer, but appears to be the same photo as shown in Garrett Serviss’ The Moon (1907) page -206.

This image also appeared in Volume 2, plate 13, of the Publications of Yerkes Observatory. A PDF can be downloaded from archive.org. A nice image of the photographic plate carrier is seen in plate 12. Other classic year 1900-vintage images are found on other plates. Amazing images for their day.
