Hello everyone.

I bought a microscope and decided to attach a ZWO Asi 2600 MS Pro.

I know that this camera is not exactly the best for microscopy, but I would like to apply the best settings so that I can take acceptable images.

This camera is made to be very sensitive to light, but it does not have very fast fps and many frames are discarded.

I use Sharpcap because it behaves better than ASI Studio, which in my opinion does not produce very good images in this context and almost all of them are discardable because they are so bad.

Here is an experience with a video of an organism (Hypotrichia?).

I would appreciate any help in this regard. Thanks

That's a very nice vid.  I'd call it a success, especially as an early attempt!  (But do I need to worry about those guys invading my gut or something?)

The first thought that came to mind is whether there's a way to do focus stacking a la macro photgraphy.  I haven't tried EAA yet, so I don't know what Sharcap can already do that might be similar.

Toupview can focus stack, and stitch images, even ones not taken from touptek cameras. Its worth a shot to try out.
