So I have seen there are a few different types, one has a 2 inch filter drawer and another doesn't. I have read its difficult to add and remove a 2 inch filter from the non-filter drawer one. How difficult is it really for those of you who have had this one? I got a buddy who is willing to sell me one really cheap, but I dont want to take a chance to damage my filters either. Thoughts?

I would just get the one with the filter drawer.  It makes it so much easier to switch filters out.  On Etsy you can even get a case to hold your filter sliders.

Free v.s $90 is why I ask.

With the non-drawer version you have to unscrew the filter every time you want to change it out. That just invites problems with dust, smudges, and scratches. The drawer is just far more convenient and honestly not overpriced at $90. I find it to be one of ZWO’s best products, don’t know why so few other companies haven’t done something similar.

Agreed to that, wish Svbony would, got $170 in gift cards sitting and waiting as I save up for things.
