This is from the first night of imaging M101. My imaging buddy and I combined our data from Sunday night to get this image. we had to stop after about130 minutes because the moon came up, but we are going to add more data later. I have one other friend who wants to combine his data with ours as soon as he can and my original buddy and I are going to add more also. A lot of folks don’t think 130 minutes, 260 total combined, is a whole lot, but a bortle 3 area can really make a difference. Fun project!
