Looking to spend under or around $200 on a case for a C11. I know there is one from Celestron themselves but it appears not to have space to leave a finderscope attached (though let me know if you have found that you can). Does anyone have a recommendation? I just need it to provide some padding for my scope so it doesn't get rattled to death in the back of my car on long drives to a darksite.

Welcome to C/N!
Some members use an inexpensive sleeping bag to protect large scopes on car trips

Love the sleeping bag idea!
I have the ~$100 Celestron C11 zippered case and find it to be pretty snug. In fact, there is a learning curve to getting the tube into the bag, exacerbated by the fact that only the top side and one end of the bag open. No way you can leave a finderscope attached unless you leave the bag unzipped part way. There is a cargo pocket at the end of the bag that is the full diameter. A thick padded wall separates the cargo from the telescope. The pocket has a lot of room for things, but bulky items, like a 50mm right-angle finder on the Celestron dovetail/ring mount is a pretty tight fit. Doable, but not the best choice, I think. A straight-through fits a little better.
There are other bags at triple the price, but I'm fine with this one, FWIW. Very good construction.

I own a Pacific Designs soft storage bag for a C11. There might be enough room to leave a finder on. But it is a little above your budget new.

We all have reasons for what we do in this hobby, but I am curious of why the finder scope would need to stay attached. That takes like 1 minute to put on and 1 minute to realign, especially if you have switched to the standard synta finder shoe set-ups.
If putting a scope into a case that means there are much larger motions afoot (ie travel) that dwarf 2 extra minutes. Also, you really risk breakage on protrusions vs a much heavier itemz
(Of course for my 80mm finder dual mounted with red dot finder, keeping it attached is out of the question! So really this is a whole new thought space to even consider keeping a finder attached.)
Again, not judging, I have my own qwerks (my love of 2” Amici diagonals for instance.)
