I own a Lunt 152 H-Alpha double stack and want to do some imaging with my DSLR. The issue is it will not come to focus. I believe this is due to the fact that the T-ring adapter is too long. A shorter one made by Baader is impossible to find.
I’ll switch to a ZWO color camera but need to know if anyone has the same scope and what ZWO camera is working for them?

I have imaged Ha sun sometimes with color camera but mono camera is really so much better.

So that is what I recommend.

Please don't waste a six inch DS Lunt by sticking a colour camera on it , that would be just silliness of the highest order ... wink.gif

I'll third the recommendation for a mono camera.  My images improved dramatically when I made that switch from a DSLR.

Mono > color, no doubt.

However you can remove the eyepiece holder from the diagonal and reveal another T thread. If you haven't done so, that will likely allow you to focus.

Thank you for the responses. I'll go with the mono camera and see about removing the ep holder from the diagonal.

Clear Skies,

Brian
