Wow astronomy is a challenge, crystal clear skies, hurricane winds.  Sun looks pretty dormant except for pretty Prominence on Limb.

Nice looking shots Tony!  That long filament is pretty amazing.  I’ll have to give it a measure when I’m processing later.

There is a large round 'blotch' in the upper left of your FD images for the past 3 days it seems. This is not in any if your zoomed in shots, however. Any idea what causes it? (too big for a dust mote I think).

Yeah I saw that, I need to check where the camera sits on the diagonal to make sure that is clean.  May need to unscrew the cap on the camera and wipe sensor with sensor clean and sensor swab stick.  It isn’t a dust mote like you said.   Keen eye Garywaytogo.gif

Great and filament images. You have probably sold a lot of people on your scope. I was attempting more today (and again struggling with semi tuning a barloed disc) but no time to check them yet.

Are you already on the Summer Solstice? We get to see the sun before you and the net is saying winter Solstice is 21st. Perhaps it's a happier instance of America first.

I know I need to clean my camera so your shots with only faint marks remind me of what I may see when I process today's images.
