My wife and I are trying to help an elderly couple divest themselves of their astronomy gear. We know nothing about this equipment and are trying to help them in this process gratis. 

 

We will assist him in posting it locally on Craigslist and Marketplace but he is selling it.

 

It appears that the items are 10 years old.  The optics are fine but I told them the scope needs a bit of dusting given that it is stored in their garage.  

 

My thought was somewhere around $2000 and wonder what others think in this regard.

It’s much more lucrative to sell the eyepieces, Barlow, and cameras separately from the telescope.

I understand what you are saying but they are too old to  have strangers coming to their home for one item at a time.

$2000 would be a steal for an OEM outfitted CPC925 with all the accessories listed.  The Skyportal, Starsense, extra eyepieces, cameras, and trolly add very good value here.   I'd not be afraid pricing it closer to $2600 and taking just a tad less.
