Here are my first images using the SHG 700. Pretty decent and high yield on details. Very impressed. Thanks Minh for putting out a good product. 23 scans stacked processed with PIPP, Autostakkert, and IMPPG

The images posted in #1 seem a little blurry due to imperfections caused by non-balanced counterweights on the equatorial mount with telescope. I re-did the scans, this time it is a stack of 10 scans. Looks sharper and better

Quality variance on the MLAstro SHG 700 is virtually negligible. Most of the differences in image results come down to user skill, seeing conditions, or other gear like the mount or camera—not the SHG itself. I’m confident that unit-to-unit variation is under 10%, meaning every SHG 700 that goes out is a solid performer. That’s the beauty of the design: no etalon lottery here—just consistent, high-quality units every single time.
