I'd consider myself a novice. Been playing the game for about a year now. I know my way around Pixinsight and have completed several projects to my personal satisfaction.

I took a couple of months off, we've had unusualy cloudy weather in Texas this spring.

Question,

I've taken 4 hrs data on M27-Dumbell nebula with ZWO 2600 OSC. I was thinking about adding some data with the Optolond Ultimate filter. Would you stack all these in one stack, or process seperately and the merge. I looked for some threads and couldn't answer my own question, so I thought I'd start a new thread. Any advice is appreciated.

I would probably just stack together.  If I just want the Ha then I do a channel separation and add in some of the red channel from the Ultimate to the red channel of the RGB broadband.  But with M27 you likely want the Ha and the Oiii.  I would just shoot a load more data with the Ultimate and see how it looks all stacked together.  But whatever you do I would most certainly use your broadband data for the stars.
