At Scopebits I endeavour to create useful things to keep all the MEADE scopes up and running.
Here is the latest product APPSTAR. A basic APP based handset replacement that is available for iOS, Android & Desktop - with free and unrestricted access.
In order to use the APP you will need an APPSTAR unit, available for LX200GPS, LS etc (Autostar 2 or 3) & ETX, LX90 etc (497 Autostar, Audiostar).
The Scopebits replacement handset CLICKSTAR also acts as an APPSTAR interface, allowing app control via it for both Android and iOS. TOUCHSTAR does the same but only for Android, however if you power TOUCHSTAR via a USB powerbank and use APPSTAR it becomes a wireless autostar 2/3 handset.
