Question,
Can you use a heavy-duty leveling base for leveling your tripod?
Just wondering if the telescope will slew and track accurately.....

I use a Neewer 3-point base. Seems to work ok, at least for my scopes which are all under 15 pounds.

A GEM doesn’t have to be level to slew and track accurately as long as it is accurately polar aligned, though a level mount may make it easier to polar align some mounts. Leveling is more important for alt/az mounts.
Regardless, level is level, whether achieved by adjusting the tripod leg length or using a leveler on top of the tripod.
It appears that the model you listed, the LB-90B, is designed for cameras with a 1/4”-20 stud on top. If your mount needs a 3/8”-16 stud, consider the LB-90R.
