NGC 6940 GSO 12" dob luminos 23mm

3 July from 0:40 to 2:00

Quite long sketch, but digitizing didn't go well, because the paper got soggy due to high humidity should try again another time

Still, very nice work! This sketch needs to be viewed on a large screen to be fully appreciated (which is true for all sketches IMHO). Wonderful star field you captured in this open cluster. Thanks for sharing.

Agree with Tony's comments!  I would also suggest using Rite in the Rain paper for those very muggy nights.  We get a lot of those in the North Carolina Piedmont.  It's been a game changer with the one caveat that it doesn't erase very well, so do take your time drawing.

Maskim I took the liberty to lighten your drawing up a bit.Unfortunately, the display on my Chromebook often lacks enough brightness to display some drawings. Once I lightened it up I could see what Tony and Butch were talking about. You did a nice job with this one!

Very nice sketch! For high humidity I have worked inside a pizza box (without the pizza of course)

yes, I had to darken the photo so that the gradient wouldn't be visible,
