Before the wonderful Saturn captures, Jupiter looked very nice. The only downside is I am rolling snake eyes with GRS. My timing is just bad.

Very nice image...  Need more info. Scope, camera, mount, processing ...etc.

Lol. Sorry. Celestron 9.25 sct @ f27, asi224mc, atlas pro. Captured in fire capture. Stacked in autostakkert and derotated in winjupos

It was a combination of the 3x teleconverter and adc which give f27
Also 100fps

I found I get f26 from my cheap Celestron 2x Barlow without any modification at all. In fact, by changing the position of the Barlow, the camera and the diagonal I could get 2.6x, 2.9x or even 3.6x from the same Barlow. Interestingly, I couldn't get 2x in any setup I tried lol.gif

 

I tested this by imaging a stop sign down the road during the day, and counting the number of pixels for the different configurations.
