Saturn imaged the night of August 19th from Singapore, a few days after this year's opposition. First image of the "Lord of the Rings" this year for me with the same new telescope used for the image of Jupiter just published in this group. The seeing was average / good (7/10) but unfortunately after a few RGB sequences the clouds rolled in for a while, preventing further images of the giant from being taken.

Nauris 21 ”f / 3.8 Newton paired with a 5x powermate and Player One Saturn M SQR camera. The rings are particularly bright due to the Seeliger effect (I made an animation of this phenomenon  with the explanation with images of last opposition. Furthermore, a polar storm in progress ("WS" or "White Spot") is clearly visible on the top of the globe just after the meridian.

Fantastic! I think I see the little "white" spot in the polar region!
