I have been out of it for a while (got a new job which became my hobby for the last 9 months). And ofc now that I have a bit of time over holiday break, we have clouds in Southern CA.  But anyone from this area knows, we don't complain about rain, so I decided to look through my data and do some reprocessing.

I was not very happy with my M20 that I have on astrobin: https://www.astrobin.../full/exhv7y/B/ which was from when I was very much still learning how to do processing.

Spent a bit more time on it and am much happier with where it is now.  Though I do have RGB stars so I think I will do another version with that (these are just the Ha star mask stars).

I am also still not super happy with my Hubble palette colors and I also feel there are stretching techniques that I want to learn about that do a better job with bringing out details in the bright areas as well as the dim areas.  BUT, this is an improvement over the one I did in 2021 so I am happy!

Here are some details on M20:

Here is a bigger version posted on Astrobin: https://www.astrobin.../full/exhv7y/C/
