Dear all,
my father's day present today is something to pick up in the sky: A pretty busy H-alpha sun. So I took the opportunity to do a charcoal sketch of it. The sun spot groups 3664/3668 were really stunning today. And also the limb wasn't boring at all. Here we go:
Telescope: Lunt LS 50 THa B600 PT
Eyepiece: Celestron X-cel 10mm
Date & Time: May 9th 2024 / 1130-1215 CEST
Location: home terrace, Dusseldorf region, Germany
Technique: natural vine charcoal and Koh-i-Noor extra charcoal pen on white Hahnemühle Ingres mould-made pastel paper
Size: 24x31cm
Clear and sunny skies!
Achim
