Hi Everyone,

Its been a long time since I've last posted lunar images. I got a new PGR Grasshopper 3 camera but my laptop was too slow to keep up to the data flow so I had to get a new one and its working fine!

All images done with my 18" Starmaster dob (driven) Carl Zambuto primary, Zeiss Abbe 3X's barlow, R/IR filter, captured with Firecapture stacked with AS2! and Avisstack2

7-8/10 seein, perfect transparency, 500-600 frames stacked out of 3300 collected. Image scale is 0.13" per pixel

As always, amazing images Mike. Yeah, the Hadley Rille/Appeninne Range is impressive, but I really like the Alpine Valley shot. Spotting that central rille has always been a source of frustration for me. Sometimes it stands right out, other times I can't even get a hint of it. Your image made me feel like I was flying over it.

Stunning images Mike! Your seeing must be fabulous, the detail is just mind boggling. Thanks for all the hard work processing these for our viewing pleasure. Each one of these outstanding images deserve a writeup on LPOD by Chuck Wood.

Hi Mike,

Apennins Mons and Alpes Vallis are fantastics ! The rest is excellent.

You should post those pictures on astrobin too.

I had good captures of the moon with my C6 last month but far far far away from you.

Great great job.

Bravo !

I feel like I could get out there and walk on the moon myself! What is the smallest size crater/rille that you can cleanly resolve in that setup?

A stunning collection of images. You really redefine what can be imaged in the moon. Very Impressive - The Hadley Rille region in particular was amazing.

Skill and aperture. Can't beat 'em.
