So, here's the box score for Thursday/Friday night and Fri./Saturday night.

 

Uranus

helix nebula

eagle nebula

veil nebula

double cluster

M31

M33

M35

 

M28, M4, lagoon, triffid, swan, and eagle in binoculars

M13

M15, very bright and well resolved in the 12.5" f/5 Dob.

NGC 7006, barely visible, at the limit of the 12.5" ability.

NGC 7331

Stephan's Quintet--barely visible in the 12.5"

M42--tremendous detail

that was a beutiful couple nights.. Some of that transparency could have been better but it was still a wonderful trip. Saw many of the same objects above.

 Sorry I never once got a chance to make the rounds and try and meet any of you.... Too busy looking and sleeping.

My fellow CAS members and I had some fantastic views from Spruce Knob on Friday night and from Dolly Sods on Saturday night.

Great pics Dave, looks like you guys had great weather. Just out of curiosity, how come you guys dont view from the plains of the Mountain Institute, a bunch of Novac guys were set up there the same weekend.
