Hello,

I just ordered my Pod XL2 yesterday, in lunar grey.  I have been busy designing ever since I ordered it.  I have my CPC800 set up in the house with an 80" circle  marked out on the floor.  Lot's of fun  trying different plans out.  Mine will be set up on a ground level deck with a concrete pad for the tripod that will be isolated from the deck.  Can't wait...I am very excited to finally have an observatory so I can be up and doing video astronomy in a matter of minutes.

Cheers,

It is going to be in Michigan. We can't have one in Nevada because  we are in a HOA.  It will work out better in Michigan any ways because we have a lot of clouds that come and go.  With an observatory I will be able to be up and rinning in just a few minutes and shut down just as fast.  The good thing about Michigan though is that I have nice dark skies.  I am in the U.P.

Regards,

Good choice with the XL3 . . .never heard anyone complain of having too much room!  Remember, nature abhors a vacuum.
