Anyone used Astromist to do a 2 or n-star alignment?

I have a Tak EM-200 mount that doesn't include any native n-star alignments in it's goto computer, and requires a computer/tablet running planetarium software even to set a one-star alignment.

I bough an iPad app called Astromist which claims to implement n-star alignments for Takahashi mounts, but it's not working for me. The alignment tool picks up the co-ords of the selected stars, and appears to connect to the mount (via SkyFi), but doesn't seem to return the mount co-ordinates when it is moved, from which it can calculate the offset and generated the n-point goto model.

Has anyone successfully used this feature (or a Tak or any other mount)?  If so, I'd really like to find out how it is supposed to work!

Thanks,

John
