Hi friendly folks. It's time to start a new thread for BEOTS...

If you need to catch up on the previous thread, here's Part 7.

Hello gang! :wavey:

How's everyone holding up during this deep freeze? Uncle Rusty have you had to chip the ice off your margarita glass?

I just got back from the Orange Blossom Special Star Party (about 2:45 from my house). We had some 20s last week, but it's been generally decent. Nick, however, got some snow:

Friday I head to St. Augustine for Nick and Donna's 50th anniversary - a week-long celebration. Actually, their date was yesterday, but they wisely decided to let the Super Bowl subside before expecting folks to hit the road...

At the moment, I'm enjoying my fave snack - Flipside crackers. pepper jack cheese, and jalapeño slices (La Costeña brand, not 'merican clones).

As for the Margarita, another Barth owner and I have been working on improvements - I got him to use limes; together we're concocting our own triple sec.

We just finally got our schedule figured out. Haven't been able to get much acomplished with some low temps in the -10s. We'll be at Deerlick a week from tomorrow. Gotta replace the roof on Bill's SkyShed and get rid of that garage door roller set up.

I won't be at DAV until around the 18th; sadly, the trailer's winterized, so can't be used (unless the weather warms). I think Chuck Faranda had work he needed done; you may want to check with him.

Bumpity...gotta get this thread going to supplant Part 7...

Still at Nick & Donna's 50th - until Friday; they head to Dizzyworld and Everglades City, and I go home. Next week, I'm off to a state park near DAV, with a side trip to my place there.

Uncle Rusty, get over to DAV (if you can) and see Scott and Don. They got iced in and held up :(, but are getting a start on things today. They were finally able to get in there yesterday afternoon. Fortunately the Georgia sun/warmth helps melt things a little faster there than here.

Looking forward to trying your new margaritas and triple sec.

Hey, it's snowing again.. we are over 55" of snow for this winter here in Canton. But.....I'm leaving tomorrow for my annual trip to the Keys and the WSP. I can't wait to see the sun. Hopefully, it's spring-like when I get back. I'll be thinking of you guys.

Gary,

I wish that I was going, but the temps here in Arizona are already creeping into the 80's.

Have fun and bring back some pics.
