Better order one before he does!
This is one of those times where the inner voice is telling me to go for it. The same voice told me to go for the Millennium Star Atlas when the original hardback set was introductory priced at $225. I've never regretted that, and I know I won't regret this.

As with any publication, I reckon this will depend on the demand for the product. We have purchased a decent number of copies (for this product type, small anticipated demand, and price point), and we have 6-8 months to sell it. We have an option to purchase another lot if these sell well. After that, it's anyone's guess...
The publisher/author has to print even larger numbers of copies than I need to purchase. This requires a very significant investment of resources and is very demand-driven.
So get the word out and get all your astro-buddies to grab a copy. And I presume most of you on this thread have already purchased a copy!
Thanks everyone.

Manish

Maybe a drafting desk, or some kind of sturdy artist's easle?I actually thought about buying tilted desk top for this book maybe on rollers. I looked around a bit with no luck. Almost like a music stand on steroids.
Anyone have any ideas or pointers?

You can't fully appreciate it until you have one in front of you!
I can't imagine. I'd love to have something like this. Maybe around the holidays!
