Here is an image of M8, the first full image taken with my new FLI ML8300 camera and filter wheel, MI-250 mount and Borg 50mm Guide scope with SSAG. I have not had a good night in all this time, but this one was not perfect, but after this wait I did not care. :p

This link is to a larger version, but the full res is too large to post there, so it is still only 1/2 size.

This photo is even smaller so that I could post it here. Hope you like it.

Very nice, Floyd!

I take it you LIKE your MI-250, eh? ;)

I'm getting first AP Light tonight with my new Tak FSQ (on my MI-250)...

Nice image... I wish my horizon was good enough to the south to do that target!

Hi Dave,
Thanks! :)
Yes, the MI-250 is quite the mount, very solid and has a great capacity and performance without being too heavy.

The FSQ is a great scope, the FSQ_106 right? That is my friends Francios wide field and he loves it. Great focuser and nice build over all. Well designed for AP work.

Yeah, I have a pretty good site that I use, with a good horizon and at 5,300' in the mountains near MT Pinos, CA. It is so nice to drive up in about a hour, set up and park the motor home and just relax for a few days in the nice temperatures and quiet surroundings.

Thank you Bill, I was so happy to get a good night that I was up until 4:30am getting all the data. :jump:
M8 is such a great object, lots of details and pastel colors with a deep star field for a background.

Nice image, Floyd!! The scope/camera/mount combination is a great match. The stars are very tight and the color and detail look terrific! You should be very pleased.

That is an awesome image Floyd. All your planning and custom fittings look to have paid off. Look to see alot more if you get the clear skies...
