hi all,
yesterday night I worked at my H 2500 list.
In the constellation Coma I saw this nice pair NGC 4633/34.
The sky was hazy, later came fog.
About this circumstance the NGC 4633 showed only the core so the two sighted as a: cosmic !
At clear sky NGC 4633 is elongated as NGC 4634.
But generally in smaller scopes I think the observer
will see every time this : !

Christian,
A fine capture of this pair in Coma Berenices.

Interesting couple, thank you for sharing and explaining their behaviour under different circumstances. Can you estimate what your NELM was?
May I ask how much is left from Herschel's list? Are you sketching them all? Do you have a gallery with all your past H2500 observations?
Frank, congrats for your 8th kilopost.
