I should be there by Friday afternoon. I will probably be locating one or two rovers on mars in the morning.

I "need" to bring the Cave 12.5" Observatory model with me. But to do that I've got to fix the brakes on my old VW pickup, and swing by Harbor Freight and get one of those pickup hoists for it, if I want to have an "easy" time of loading and unloading it. I suppose I could put it in my van, but I'd have to take it apart farther and will need help setting up and tearing the beast down.

'cause I think I've brought all my other cool scopes up there at one time or another, right?

Agreed.

Incidentally, I'm trying to figure out how I can stuff five telescopes and gear and supplies into my Jeep. I may have to put the expendable things like clothes and food on the roof. I may have to drive from on the roof.

Packing and prepping. Got my food into a small ice chest this year, more room for toys. Definitely taking the 8" Dob, AR-5, C4-R, and ZS66. I might even throw in the Sears if I have space left over. Anyone have a Losmandy G-11 I can borrow up there? Cutting back on mounts would save me loads of space :step:

I'll be packing and heading out tomorrow (Friday), probably mid-day or so. Definitely need to get there well before dark. I don't want to be trying to set up that Cave 12.5" in the dark.

Have work to do today and tomorrow morning, otherwise I'd leave now!

The post wasnt allowed on the classic forum. So I guess no one posted the CSPAMP photos.
