Great work Eriker! We were in Lincoln for Chris and Haley's wedding and watched from a park in the area. you were a little closer to totality. Max for us was near your last draring but not quite. I shoulda taken the Lunt but we had a truck load with taking Chris' stuff that has been in the attic for like forever.

I took several pics but the glare wouldn't show the phases properly. I have some nicer shots than this but this one shows the Moon the best. I don't know if there's any way to process the others to show it better. This was pretty near our closest approach to totality but the pic doesn't show it's proper phase.

It was a beautiful sunset over the lake nonetheless.

You almost couldn't tell which was up or down looking at the reflection in the water.

Hi there. Like Andy said, we're in Lodi 44254. Feel free to PM me for directions as Map Quest sends you down rt 250 which isn't the best route.

Always good to meet new people, and you'll meet plenty at BEOTS! :D A 12.5 inch is a great size for y'all to have started with, you'll have a blast with it.

I'll be in on that Friday, Scotty boy. Don't have the info right here handy (I'm still in New Hampshire helping my mom and stepdad), but I'll get there early/mid afternoon, I believe. 2ish.

Oh duh, it's on my Blackberry. Flight lands in Cleveland at 12:30. So, get bag, get car, drive there. 2ish is still about right from what I remember of the drive. :)

And I'm flying out on Monday, I knew you guys wouldn't mind me staying over an extra night.

Should I bring the Margarita mix and Tequila?

Amy will be at a conference that weekend and she has given me the go ahead to head on up. I am hoping to head up early (on Thursday).

I will be bringing the 12.5" scope.
