I know that my Cesestron handset acts funny when it gets cold. Does the Autostar handset also act weird when its cold? Thanks.

Yes, the display gets slow but the accuracy seems unaffected.

When it gets really cold I stuff mine in a padded lunch box with my power supplies and powered USB hub. That does a good job of keeping it warm. I've also used a small camera pounch and one of those hand warmers that you toss in the microwave.
