Hi.

I'm not sure doing astronomy is so relaxing when you have to fight against clouds. The hole in the clouds was passing just west of my home resulting I was always at the edge of them and they were passing rapidly on the sun giving me very short less than a minute period of observation. The image quality was wonderfully clear I wished having longer period. So much activity on the sun, proms where fantastic and the sunspots too. I decided to try a full disk and between very short period of clear sky, I did it before loosing definitely the sun. So a day like today where the clouds are teasing me, I find that extremely frustrating and not relaxing at all. So pardon me if I missed some details, I had to hurry fixing each detail in my memory between two clouds.

Andre.

Peter.

Thank you so much. Two and a half hours later, sun came back with less stability but I've been able to do some more sketches.

Andre,

Very fine sketches--I know how hard it is when the view keeps getting obscured by clouds. I haven't had the chance to look at the big AR in Halpha--thanks for the view. :)

Thank you all.

Three days are forecasted as clear, I'm eager to see that ! Anyway, I'm back on my night shift, so I'll be able to catch them all and follow the big AR.

Again impressive sketches. And sorry that I don't reply to all you work, but you sketch faster the sun than your shadow
