Hey guys. Was thinking about picking up a set of Bob's Knobs. Which ones go with the Non- EdgeHD Fastar compatible 8SE?

I found THESE, but wanna make sure they are the correct ones.
Thanks.

Hi Smitty,

Your Nexstar 8SE (Non-Edge) will have been built in China and as such will have metric collimation screws. Replace them with these "Bob's Knobs".

Your welcome Matt !

I think so long as your 8SE is originally equipped with black headed, Phillips collimation screws and the 'scope was bought relatively recently, (2007 onwards), the above described, metric threaded "Knobs" will be correct.

By contrast, my own, older Nexstar 8i was bought at the beginning of '06 and was one of the last to be built in the US. Consequently, it has silver headed, Phillips collimation screws with standard threads.

Best regards,
Tel
