here is Mars from last night.
Seeing started out terrible but slowly improved over an hour and a half. It might have been local conditions becuase the day was quite warm and night quite cold so I suspect it was just to do with temperature gradients of the mirror, or perhaps the ground etc.
Anyway, eventually I was able to get some good detail.
Elysium was bright but not exactly cloud-covered. Instead it presented two distinct streaks with a somewhat yellow hue. Possibly dust?
Phlegra, Trivium Charontis and Cerberus create a sweeping diagonal boundary to the edge of Elysium, they are on the Central Meridian.
Olympus Mons was sporting a large white cloud which produced a significant bulge in the sunset limb mist.
Mist was noted on both evening and morning limbs which was pale blue compared to the brilliant white polar cap and the yellow streaks of Elysium.
I noted a dark collar around the polar cap which was darker towards Utopia. I also noted ice outside the collar over the central meridian.
Mare Cimmerium was the darkest region on the disk, Tritonis sinus especially so.
