Bingo!

 Actually this is a long tube FS152, last year I had an FS152NV which was a few inches shorter. I sold that one and regretted it! I just picked this beauty up a few days ago.

Well, if I can make it, I figure I'll bring the 8" Optical Craftsmen Connoisseur. Or maybe the 1970 tricolor C-8 (Tinky). Or perhaps my 1981 Springfield Newtonian. Or my 1982 Tak FC-76 on the P2 mount. Or...

If I'd made 273 telescopes, I'd be camping out in the street by now for lack of space!

I was hoping to bring a "Parker" up to the event.

Unfortunately JSF is the same weekend. :(

Bump! Just under one month to go!

Still going! I have a VCAS star party that same weekend, but it's also at Pinos, so I guess I'll be doing double star party duty

I may even have my Discovery put back together in time to bring it!

As the time for CSPAMP V approaches, it looks more and more like I will be able to make it. Hopefully, my Brashear mount will be restored by then, so I`ll bring the Brashear 8" reflector. I`ll also bring my 6" AP and view double stars with Robert.

I might also be able to make it, actually! If all goes well on the 5th, we'll likely be doing systems checkouts on Curiosity for a few weeks at least before we begin driving across the floor of Gale Crater.

Question is, which scope should I bring if I can come?

For sure the Da Bear Cave 10" and the 8". Just got a used G-11 to hold the 8" Cave, but I still need some rings.

Clint, I just re- confirmed Janice and I will have the same 5th wheel trailer as last year. Whoo-Hoo!

Dan, any special menu requests?

Good Dates for CSPAMP !! Would love to be there but can't!! Curiously the Vega Sky Center was founded on August 16,1970 as the Vega Observatory by myself and Mel Dawson almost 42 years ago, and I got married on August 19,1972 nearly 40 years ago.Plus I celebrate my birthday August 23. How cool is that? I'm looking forward to the reports coming from this years' event too. Gary(G:cool:)
