I just installed a new Feathertouch focuser on my TSA-120. Certainly it’s a work of art but one thing I don’t like is that the tension adjustment nut requires an allen key. I would like to be able to make adjustments on the fly without having to pull out an allen key. Has anyone replaced the adjustment nut with a thumb screw nut? What size thumb screw nut did you use?
thanks,

As far as I know anything you are allowed to adjust has a thumbscrew on it from the factory and anything that does not you are not supposed to touch. I have owned a lot of scopes with FT focusers right up to the FT3545 and I have never had to adjust that screw.
